(CNN) — A 30-year-old man died Sunday after falling from a walkway at Candlestick Park during the San Francisco 49ers first regular season game against the Green Bay Packers, police said.
The man was walking with his brother on an elevated pedestrian walkway when he fell onto the sidewalk below.
“Multiple independent witnesses indicated he appeared to be intoxicated prior to his fall,” according to a news release from the San Francisco police.
The man’s name has not been released.
